1. Who this agreement is between

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Kwik Plumbing & Heating ("we", "us", "our"), a Rhode Island plumbing and heating company at 1149 Hartford Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919, holding RI Master Plumber License #MP-6247. They govern your use of the website at kwikwarwick.com (the "Site").

By accessing the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. The Site is informational, not a contract for service

Information on this Site — service descriptions, pricing references, service-area listings, business hours, FAQs — is provided for general informational purposes. Browsing the Site, calling us, or filling out an online quote request does not, by itself, create a contract for plumbing or heating work.

A binding service agreement is created only when (a) we provide you with a written estimate or work order for a specific job, and (b) you accept it in writing or by clear conduct (e.g. authorizing the technician to begin work). The terms of that estimate/work order, together with any change orders we both sign, govern the actual service relationship.

3. Estimates, pricing, and changes

• Pricing on the Site (e.g. service descriptions, "starting at" figures) is illustrative — actual pricing depends on the specific work, materials, site conditions, and parts availability.
• Written estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate; if no period is stated, 30 days from issuance.
• If conditions discovered during the work materially change scope (e.g. hidden damage, code-required upgrades, unexpected access difficulty), we'll stop, explain, and provide a written change order before continuing. You decide whether to proceed.
• Payment terms are stated on the invoice. Past-due balances may be subject to interest and reasonable collection costs as permitted by Rhode Island law.

4. Workmanship and warranties

We perform work in accordance with the Rhode Island plumbing and mechanical codes applicable to the job, in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Specific warranty terms (length, what's covered, exclusions) are stated on the estimate or invoice for each job; manufacturer warranties on installed equipment are passed through under the manufacturer's terms.

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY ON A SPECIFIC JOB, we disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by Rhode Island law, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties — those exclusions may not apply to you.

5. Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to interfere with, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Site or its underlying systems.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person when contacting us through the Site or referenced channels.
• Submit false information in service inquiries.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's text, layout, graphics, photos, logos, and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, republish, scrape, or use the content for a competing service without our written permission. "Kwik Plumbing & Heating" and the "K" mark are our common-law trademarks.

7. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party resources (e.g. kwikplumbingri.com for online quotes, and Google Maps for the embedded contact map). We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: our total liability arising from or relating to your use of the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.

Liability arising from a specific service agreement (an actual job we performed) is governed by the terms of that agreement, not by this Section.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
